Mrs. Jarrett

Parsons Vikings

Hello!  My name is Robin Jarrett.  I was born in California and moved here in 1993.  I have also lived in Florida and Ohio.  I moved around a lot when I was growing up.  In fact, I attended 16 schools before I graduated high school in Saugus, CA in 1987.  (If you do the math, you can figure out how old I am!) I have been teaching for 15 years.  My daughter, Maddie, is 22 years old, and she just graduated from Wichita State University this past May.  The year before last, she spent a semester abroad in Spain studying International Business.  She now works in Human Resources for a bank in downtown Wichita.   She and I are EXTREME Wichita State Shocker Basketball fans! (Check out the links at the bottom of this page!) Both of my parents attended Wichita State and many of my extended family members live in Wichita too. I graduated from Pittsburg State University, but attended college in California as well.  I am also a huge Atlanta Braves baseball fan - #ChopOn!!! Go Braves!

I LOVE being a teacher and am very happy to work in such a great school district with supportive families, staff, and administrators.  My favorite day of the week is FRIDAY because the whole town wears blue and gold to support our Vikings!  On ANY day of the week, though, you might see me playing foursquare or soccer on the playground with our students.

You may recognize me from Upscale Country and the Parsons Pool too!  I managed the pool with my daughter in the summer for 3 years (2014, 2015, and 2016) and I work some weekends and evenings at Upscale.

I am proud to be a Viking

By the way, there is something kind of strange on this page!  If you are one of my students, and you think you've found it, come tell me and I will give you a prize!
