Mrs. Jarrett

Parsons Vikings

Hello!  My name is Robin Jarrett.  I was born in California and moved here in 1993.  I have been teaching for 15 years.  In addition to being an elementary teacher, I am a wife and a mom too.  I have three children.  My daughter - Maddie - is 21 and attends Wichita State University.  Last year, she spent a semester abroad in Spain studying International Business.  My two sons - Chase 10th grade, and Colsen 8th grade - attend school in Parsons.  Chase plays percussion in band and Colsen plays the bass in orchestra.  Both boys plan to run track for Parsons this year.  As family, we are EXTREME Wichita State Shocker Basketball fans! (Check out the links at the bottom of this page!) Both of my parents attended Wichita State and many of my extended family members live in Wichita too. I graduated from Pittsburg State University, but attended college in California as well.

I LOVE being a teacher and am very happy to work in such a great school district with supportive families, staff, and administrators.  My favorite day of the week is FRIDAY because the whole town wears blue and gold to support our Vikings!  On ANY day of the week, though, you might see me playing foursquare or soccer on the playground with our students.

You may recognize me from Upscale Country and the Parsons Pool too!  I've managed the pool with my daughter for the past three years and I work some weekends and evenings at Upscale.

I am proud to be a Viking

By the way, there is something kind of strange on this page!  If you are one of my students, and you think you've found it, come tell me and I will give you a prize!
XOXO, Mrs. J.
